If you have **Sensedia API Platform** version 4.13 or earlier, user identity and access management is performed through the Manager's main menu.

Here are some of the main differences between how access was handled in previous Platform versions and how it's done now with **Sensedia Access Control**.

User control (Access Control), which was previously accessed through your Platform's sidebar menu, is now a separate module.
