Support Services

For the Open Finance ecosystem, it is very important that metrics and data related to the monitoring and health of the APIs are made available to the participants and also to the Central Directory. For this, there are real-time data collection mechanisms that must be implemented by the Financial Institutions to meet the Open Banking Brazil specifications. The Support Services functionality abstracts the complexity in exposing monitoring data and brings a set of ready-made APIs, which have as main objective to meet the Central Bank regulation.

Therefore, Support Services is the name given to the monitoring module developed by Sensedia to report metrics from the Open Banking Brazil APIs to the Central Bank. The following APIs are part of this module:

API Status

  • Gets the description of the status code returned by the APIs.

Outages API

  • Retrieves the list of scheduled unavailability of services.

Metrics API

  • Makes it possible for the directory to consult operational statistics of the APIs made available by financial institutions in order to evaluate the quality of the services provided to the end user.
