PCM

The Metrics Collection Platform (PCM) is used to concentrate data about API calls between Insurance Companies that are part of Open Insurance.

It aims to centralize, analyze, and to automatically provide interoperability of the APIs in this ecosystem.

Reporting is mandatory for Insurance Companies with the roles of Receiver and Transmitter.

In the context of PCM, these roles are taken as:

  • Client: receiver of the data, who requested it;

  • Server: transmitter of the data, who returned it.

The reports should be sent even if the call was not successful, because they will be used for statistical control and monitoring of the ecosystem.
Upon receiving them, Susep starts the conciliation process, comparing the information from Client and Server to ensure the compliance of the data. If divergences are identified, the companies will be notified to fix them.

You can check the submitted reports and the conciliation status through the PCM Portal (in Portuguese).

Sensedia’s Solution

Sensedia’s PCM solution optimizes the delivery of reports using an event-driven architecture, ensuring that the customer:

  • Complies with regulatory requirements and deadlines;

  • Doesn’t need to make any adjustments on their side;

  • Has PCM always up to date with new versions;

  • Avoids operational costs.

Sensedia’s integration with Susep is performed by Events Hub, our messaging product that ensures the delivery of events to the Central Directory.

For data collection to be performed, the APIs must be exposed on Sensedia’s Gateway.

Companies that want to do this process autonomously and need the data from the APIs passing through our Gateway, need to request it via Zendesk.
