Permissions
Basic Concepts
Resource: Represents a functional area of the system, such as Discovery, Workflows, etc.
Permission: A specific action allowed on a resource, such as create, delete, list, update, view, etc.
Role: A set of permissions assigned to a user to define their access level.
Permissions are organized into roles. Each role is a set of permissions that you can assign to one or more users. To grant access to someone, just create or choose an existing role and apply it to the user. You can also use the default roles, which come with predefined permissions.
The permissions, roles, and users are managed by Access Control.
