Generating security credentials

You will see two tabs: General Settings and Credentials.

Only users with the Super Admin policy can manage access credentials.
The credentials expire in 3650 days (10 years), remaining valid until they are revoked. However, the tokens generated with these credentials have a default lifespan of 86400 seconds (24 hours).

Under Credentials, click the Generate Credentials button. Security credentials will be created and displayed on the screen.
Copy and keep this information. The Client Secret won’t be displayed again.

Only one active credential is allowed per user. This means a user cannot generate a new credential until the existing credential is revoked.

To revoke the user’s credential, while still on the Credentials tab, click Revoke Credentials. Then, click Remove.

The Credentials tab will be empty.

A Super Admin user is allowed to revoke only their own credentials. That is, other Super Admin users cannot revoke each other’s credentials.

The Client Secret will be displayed only once on the Credentials tab.
Security credentials will not work if MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is enabled.
